In mythology the plan of the doppelganger or double involves the existence of an evil twin. This ideas seems to parallel the concept of bilocation. Doppelgangers were believed to have been switched at birth, the good child being replaced with the evil. It is said that if the two should meet, then they will both perish.
Bilocation is also a mental state described by some practitioners of remote viewing. In this context it is believed that the remote viewer’s attention or awareness is split in two so that half of the viewer’s conscious attention is trained on a remote location and the other half is focused on the immediate environment.”
ok….so now the explanation about this phenomena is clear has anyone ever experienced it? I would have to be taken back to my book where I speak about time travel, doppelgangers and astral disappear – however, i do not feel that the topic of bilocation is dealt with fully because an entire book could be written on this one topic alone.

The phenomena in which an exact duplicate of a person appears in the same area or even miles away is called a human double,bilocation or doppleganger. Bilocation is the term given to the parascientific do of being in two different locations at once. The physical manifestation of a body that appears during an episode of bilocation are referred to as ethereal bodies. Ethereal is a definition given to describe all those things that take on a physical form apart from the material plane of existence.
Our astral body, according to Paracelsus, cannot die, but instead is made of miniscule indestructible particles that are capable of ascending into other realms or dimensions after death. In addition, some parapsychologists also include near-death experiences under the umbrella of astral projection and bilocation.
There has been quite a long history of bilocation according to parapsychologists, most of it having to do with Catholic saints. The unfavorable Padre Pio was said to have been seen in various places around the world at the same time. In Padre Pio’s case bilocation was utilized to effect people from life-threatening situations ranging from automobile accidents to stepping in to prevent suicides and bring the unfortunate back into the fold of the Catholic Church
Another form of bilocation is related to the term doppelganger or double. Among the most defective of non-religious claims of bilocation are the stories that involve British Romantic poet Lord Byron. It has been claimed that Byron accomplished acts of apparently bilocation by actually hiring doubles to pose at him in different places at once, attributing this ability to astral projection- Byron was actually called “the devil himself” after his experiment.

There exists a theory called bilocationwhich states that a person can appear in two places at the same time. In a book called “Human Personality and Its Survival of Bodily Death”, a parapsychologist details a story in which two young girls see an image of their father in two separate locations. It is believed that these “doubles” can be seen when a person is under some kind of extreme duress, or right before actual death (though that wasn’t the case with the two girls.) – perhaps a good read for those interested in this particular subject.
My doppelganger” theory; that concept embraces the idea that for each and every living person, there exists another living person who looks exactly the same. The “doubles” concept as presented in popular folklore, refers to a definite separation between the living world as we know it, and another plane of existence, where spirits are said to dwell. Doppelgangers are believed to appear just before a person’s death to help them to the otherside.
My question to you:
Iif we’re to imagine that one’s spirit can temporarily separate from the body at will, would it not be feasible for other people in the world to see us in this state?
